The results are in for our second and third books! (Kinda!)
Our next book will be Black Water Sister by Zen Cho! You will have until June 15th to acquire a copy of it. I'll put up a read along post for it then. Our final discussion for the book will be July 13th!

Date: 2024-06-06 07:12 am (UTC)For the other book, I think the concept of The Saint of Bright Doors is really cool. And I've read part of another of C Pam Zhang's books, and had a lot of fun with its prose style (I generally like things that lean into the poetic), so I'd also love if that won. I've not generally had the best time with reading longer classic novels, but I'd be willing to give Middlemarch a shot!

Date: 2024-06-06 01:48 pm (UTC)Since there was a tie for second, what if we just consider them all joint winners and read them over the next few months? That will save us having to vote again in a couple months' time.

Date: 2024-06-06 02:19 pm (UTC)I voted for Middlemarch, but I'm totally fine with Pop's idea of just putting all four books on our list and working our way down. This might also make it easier to get the books?
